Happy Valentine’s Day darlings! I think this may be one of my favorite iPhone wallpapers I’ve designed so far.

During our first year of marriage I was finishing my last year of college, and my husband and I often had opposite schedules. He used to leave me little love notes in my lunch box, and I would leave messages for him on our bathroom mirror. It was a nice way to let each other know we were thinking of the other. I treasured those little messages and that’s what inspired me for this month’s iPhone wallpaper.

I really need to start leaving him notes again. Plus even a simple lipstick print can send a very sexy message. I know my husband loves it.

Christmas always get me in the mood for all things sparkly. The lights, the glitter and the glow are all so warm and festive. I created two designs this month so you can add some festive flare to both your home screen and lock screen. Sometimes wallpaper designs look a little busy against all the apps on the home screen, but the glitter simply pops.

Free Fox iPhone Wallpaper: September Edition

Yes, I know it’s already October and yes, I know this is late. But life gets busy and I’ve accepted the fact that I’m not perfect a long time ago. Better late than never. I’m not going to lie, in honor of me designing a fox iPhone wallpaper, I decided to watch “What Does the Fox Say?” for the first time today… and I’ve had it stuck in my head ever since. I found it entertaining, and laughed probably more than I should have. I know I’m a little late on that bandwagon, but again, better late than never.

August iPhone Wallpaper and My One Year Birthday

Friday was my one year blog anniversary! So much has happened in the past year and life has been busy, but it will be exciting to see where year two takes me. I feel like I have a better focus for where I want my blog to go this coming year and I’m brimming with ideas. I just need to make the time for it all. I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything other than wallpapers, but Amy and I have gotten back to work and have the next six months of Sister Inspirations planned out. So look for the September edition within the next few weeks.

One of my goals for my blog was to design an iPhone wallpaper every month. I did it! I’ve seen a lot of growth in my designs and I was even featured on the blog Lines Across. When Rachel posted her list of summer iPhone wallpapers last year, it was actually my original inspiration start designing them myself. I was ecstatic when I saw she included one of mine in her list this year. Enjoy my 13th design and hopefully many more to come.

Audrey Hepburn iPhone Wallpapers

I was very excited to receive my first iPhone wallpaper request this month. When my friend Kenzie asked if I would design a wallpaper for her, I knew instantly that it had to be makeup related. She and I have bonded over the aisles of Ulta and Sephora and she introduced me to NYX. Their butter glosses are divine. Plus they’re inexpensive. Tiramisu is my absolute favorite. Perfection.

I’ve combined our shared love for makeup and the always classy Audrey Hepburn for this month’s iPhone wallpaper. I made a pink version because it’s Kenzie’s favorite color, and a Tiffany blue version because it’s Audrey Hepburn, of course.

Free iPhone Dog Wallpaper: June Edition

This wallpaper is very special to me. It’s a tribute to the most special dog that Brandon and I lost a few months back. The silhouette below is our sweet Great Dane, Bella. Someday I may write a post about her. We were blind-sighted by her loss and there are still too many emotions spinning around inside of me. At this point, I don’t know which ones to share or keep to myself.

But for now, this is a sweet reminder of the happiness animals can bring to our lives. I will always remember the pure joy in Bella’s eyes when she would see Brandon or me. I couldn’t wait to get home to her at the end of the day. I remember the excitement of getting off work, driving home and pulling in the driveway to see her running to greet me. I want to love others the way my dog loved me. That may sound crazy to some, but those people don’t know what they are missing. Pure, unconditional and faithful love.

Treasure your fur babies and give them extra cuddles, always.

Important tip: iPhone now has an option that when you are setting your picture as a wallpaper you can turn off your “perspective zoom.” Make sure this is turned off, that way you will get a better centered background. Let me know if you have any questions.
